Indoor Bowls in the Members' Lounge

The game is played on special mats 30 ft long x 6 ft wide. Bias bowls are smaller than those used outdoors and these are supplied by the club. Teams of four players compete against each other.

THE NEW SEASON:

Tuesday 4th May will see the start of the Indoor Bowls Social days (held each Tuesday in the Members Lounge).

Games start at 10 am and finish at approximately
2.30 pm with a break for lunch. BYO lunch or buy at the Club. A cost of $2.00 covers your game and a cup of tea or coffee.

Club Championships:

Club championships are played during the season with ladies and men’s singles, also mixed pairs.

Indoor Pennant:

We have four Pennant teams starting with division one to division four, also social indoor bowls from May to august. Coaching is available to new players.

Pennant is played on Thursdays at 11 am, with two teams home and two away during the season which finishes at the end of August..

The Pennant Teams finished last year with three teams playing off in the finals with one winning a flag, and two runner ups. Last year was very well attended and we will be looking for some new bowlers to keep us on top again in 2010.
